as in Triple Layer Chocolate PIE
Not so pretty but so soothing for the soul.
And it couldn't be easier to make!
Don't be shocked it is just pudding and COOL-Whip,
but it will brighten your day and make you feel special because
IT IS PIE after all!
Triple Layer Chocolate Pie
1 OREO Pie Crust (6oz. )
2 Pkg. (4-serving size) JELL-O Chocolate flavor
Instant Pudding and Pie filling
2 Cups cold Milk (2% recommended)
I use skim and use a couple TB less milk
1 Tub 8oz. COOL WHIP whipped topping
Pour cold milk into large bowl.
Add pudding mix.
Beat with wire whisk 1 minute.
Let puding set for about 5 minutes to thicken.
Spoon 1 1/2 Cups of pudding onto bottom of crust.
Gently stir in 1/2 of whipped topping into remaining pudding.
Spread over pudding in crust.
Top with remaining whipped topping.
Refrigerate 3 hours or until set.

It is a good day to be home....
It is so icy out church was cancelled today.
Yesterday I finished another block for the
2012 Craftsy BOM
Made mine mini.... each little HST is 1 1/2"
6" center block
Technique.....Half -Square Triangles (HST)
CHEVRON..
I think it looks like snow on the mountains.
I'm doing all my blocks with a winter theme.
In the 2 color scheme... blue and white
I am however feeling like a bit of a rebel
as neither of the Feb. BOM looks like the
suggested layout. A happy rebel however, as I know
it is OK .... there are no rules!
The CREATIVE spirit lives in ME.
Making snow because we hardly have any snow.
Life is GOOD!
I joined the YMCA last week.
I am taking this day to enjoy
Just a little bit of Choc. comfort
before I die exercising!

P.S. If the above mentioned pie sits in your fridge for a day or two you will notice it getting more delicious as the days go by.... the crust gets kind of
oooy- goooy- fudgy- like
as it absorbs some of the moisture from the pudding.
